Most selected airfields should be visible towards the centre of the image, however some may require a bit of scrolling. Images shown at a default elevation. Where no image available zoom out for best available. Lists and images are subject to regular updates. Airfields and locations marked with an asterisk * have Birds Eye View down to 20 Metres.

Info

  • The zip files with lat longs for all airfields are available on request, but I still have approximately 30 or so entries for abandoned sites that I`m not totally convinced are correct which I am attempting to verify.
  • Snapshots In Time: This is more work in progress. Where articles of historic interest relate directly to an airfield a link that article has been added to the image page. Please let me know if you have any such articles that you would like to see on the site. See The Articles Here
  • Historic Ads: This is a new section devoted to tracing the history of aviation in the UK through contemporary advertisements. There are literally thousands to be added so if you're interested keep looking in to see what's new. See The Ads Here
