RAF Stations Index

Opened in 1938 Cosford was used as a storage and maintainance airfield. After the war it was used as a technical college still active today although some of this will be moved to RAF St Athan shortly. A gliding school and air experience flying sqn are still based here. It is also home to the Imperial War Museum and the only place in the world were you will see all three V-bombers standing side by side.
