RAF Stations Index 

Opened in 1917 Henlow was used as a repair depot and in 1927 the Officers Engineering School moved to the site. During WW2 it was again used as a repair depot.After the war it became a Radio Engineering Establishment until 1980. Today various RAF training units are based here. A civilian flying school is based here alongside as 616 VGS Sqn.
